Carter Langfold Limited is a construction company working across the West Midlands, Worcestershire and Warwickshire, with three services, solar panels, loft insulation and spray foam removal, carried out nationwide. We take on roofing, driveways, extensions and loft conversions for homeowners, and roofing, insulation and spray foam work for landlords, housing providers and commercial clients.
The way we work is simple to describe and rare to find: the right trades brought together under one contract, one project lead and one point of accountability. You do not hire a roofer, then a builder, then a plasterer, and referee between them. You deal with one company from the free survey to the handover walkthrough, and one number if anything needs looking at afterwards.
That matters most when a job changes shape, which on older property it often does. A roof booked in as a recover turns out to need timber work once it is stripped. A driveway turns out to need a drain. A loft turns out to have spray foam on the rafters. Because one project lead runs every trade, the job carries on rather than stalling while you find someone else.
Every job is guaranteed in writing: a 12 month workmanship warranty, a 10 year structural warranty where applicable, manufacturer warranties on materials passed to you at handover, and insurance-backed guarantees available through our trade body memberships. Every project is overseen by the business owner, every job is covered by a written guarantee, and every quote is fixed in writing before work starts.

How a job runs
Survey first. Price in writing. Then the work.
We never price work we have not seen. The order is deliberate.
1. A free survey, on site
We visit, measure, get in the loft or up the ladder, and talk through what you actually need. If the honest answer is a repair rather than a replacement, that is what you will hear.
2. A fixed, itemised written quote
Every element priced separately, building control fees included where they apply, and a stated rate for anything that can only be confirmed once work starts, such as timber found rotten under a roof strip.
3. One project lead, start to finish
One person runs every trade on the job, keeps the site tidy, and is the person you ring. No chasing a chain of subcontractors yourself.
4. Handover and paperwork
A walkthrough with you at completion, the building control certificate where one applies, the warranties, and the documents a surveyor or lender will ask for later.

I’m really happy with the work carried out by Carter Langfold on my resin driveway. From start to finish, they were professional, reliable and worked hard to complete the order to a high standard.
Very professional service throughout, from initial survey through to the sprayfoam being taken out. Each stage of the job was clearly explained, and my loft was left immaculate. Very impressive.
I cant thank this company enough for successfully removing the sprayfoam from my auntie's house as she wasn't able to sell the property until it had been removed and signed off by the bank's surveyors. Great job, polite and professional staff, highly recommend.

Are you a roofing company?
No, and the difference is the point. Carter Langfold is a construction company. Roofing is one of the trades we run, alongside driveways, extensions, loft conversions, insulation, solar and spray foam removal. A roofing-only firm can only sell you a roof; we can tell you whether the roof is the problem, and fix the timbers, the loft or the structure underneath if it is not.
Do you do all the work yourselves?
We bring the right specialist trades in for each part of a job and run them under one contract, one project lead and one point of accountability. You deal with one company and one number from survey to handover, and the same standards and the same cover apply to every part of the job.
