How much do solar panels cost?
It depends on the system size, the roof, access, and whether battery storage is included, which is why we survey before quoting. You get a fixed, itemised written quote, priced with and without battery storage so you can compare.
Do solar panels work in winter?
Yes. Panels generate electricity during daylight hours all year round, including winter, just at a lower output than summer. The system design accounts for the full year, not the best month.
Can solar panels be installed on most roofs?
Most homes are suitable, but roof condition, orientation, shading and structure all need checking first. That is what the free survey is for, and because we are builders, a roof that needs work first is something we can fix rather than a reason to walk away.
Do I need planning permission for solar panels?

Is battery storage worth adding?
It comes down to how much of the electricity you generate gets used at home rather than exported. We look at your usage pattern at the survey and give you the figures both ways rather than defaulting to the bigger sale.
Do you really install solar nationwide?
Yes. Solar, loft insulation and spray foam removal are the three services we carry out across the UK. Everything else we keep to the West Midlands.
Are solar panels worth it in the UK?
