Why do you recommend a dry ridge on my Solihull roof?
Because mortar bedding fails. It cracks, it lets water under the ridge tiles, and the tiles blow off in a gale. A dry system fixes them mechanically and lets the roof breathe. On a hipped roof with a lot of ridge it is the single best upgrade you can make.
Can you re-use my clay tiles?
